| The Kenai Peninsula has some great places to Kayak. You can choose between Lazy flat water rivers, and lakes, or class 5 white water, or the ever popular sea Kayak trips. For Half day trips we recommend some great trips right near our business location. Kayaks are very stable and we offer classes or guided trips. Unguided trips start at $35 per person Guided trips Start at $150 per person. ---------------------------------------------------- 1. Kenai River from skilak to Bings landing. This is one of our most popular trips. paddling across a mile of Skilak lake and then down river 12 miles to Bings landing. Flat class ( 1 ) one water all the way. Great chance to see wildlife along the way, nesting Eagles, Swans, Loons, Moose and sometimes bear. Fishing is excellent for Salmon, trout. Plan on 4 to 6 hours for this trip. This unguided trip for two is $110.00 Guided trip for two is $250.00 this includes all shuttle fees and launch fee's. Federal use is an additional $2.85 per person. ---------------------------------------------------- 2. Kasilof River trip. Starting at the Tustemena lake campground and coming out at the Sterling Hwy bridge, this is a fun river because it has that remote feel and starts out slow and picks up speed as you go. this is an easy class one (1) to class two ( 2 ) river . plan on 3 to 4 hours for this trip. Unguided trips with shuttle service is $ 175.00 for two people. Guided is $350.00 for two people. this includes Shuttle, and launch fee's. Federal use is an additional $2.85 per person. ---------------------------------------------------- 3. Kenai canoe trail lakes. This is great way to get out on the water and relax while you explore this most wonderful and pristine place. The canoe trail system offers so very much, from short trips of just a few hours, to week long trips. Self guided trips where you take the kayaks your self using our car top carrier is as low as $30.00 per person. Shuttle fee to West entrance for two people with two kayaks is $175.00 For guided trips, cost is $350.00 for two people. includes shuttle services refuge fee's. Federal use is an additonal $2.85 per person We also can custom design any kayak trip you desire. |
